BBC Radio Lincolnshire Appearance

This evening Nigel, Teri and Tom appeared on the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Folk programme hosted by Tom Lane from 6:30pm to 7:00pm every Wednesday. Nigel and Teri talked about the places they have played and the different styles of music they play which include Traditional English and Irish Folk music but also some Folk music from the 50′s. 60′s and 70′s.

If you missed the interview you can hear it again on the BBC iPlayer website until Wednesday 4th August 2010. Scan through to about 2 hours and 30 minutes to hear just the interview. If you don’t get chance to here it before 4th August the interview will appear on our Media section of the website before the end of the week.

On another note the performance dates will be updated soon plus the look of it will be improved so it is easier to read.

Site Revamp & Album News

Well as you can see (i hope) the site has had a re-vamp. The last design for the website was a pre-made template by a company. This new theme has been created from scratch by Tom (youngest son) and we hope you all like it.

Onto album news, the third one is on its way, we recorded 6 tracks back in February and have finally got round to mixing them down today (Sunday 25th April) and finalised. The completion of the album is a long way away yet but with all the attention to detail we hope this album wll be the best yet. We have another 7-8 tracks to record and then the covers to make so like I said the completion is not till the end of the year.

I am hoping to have a few 30 second sneak peaks for you to wet your taste buds. Check back soon for more updates.

P.S. Having a few issues with the Dates section so it is currently unavailable. I will try to get it back online as soon as possible.

It has been a while since I made an update. So today we have updated the Dates Calendar with all the dates we have up to today.

P.S. We are also considering a third album to hopefully start sometime this year.

It has been a while since we posted anything so i thought it was time to update a few things. We have updated the list of dates and made a few changes to the Dates page. We have also added an “Upcoming Events” on the right sidebar showing the next 5 events.

In addition to the dates I have also added some more links to the website of other artists that maybe of interest.

Moving to WordPress

Hello,

It has been a while since the last post here, we have been busy recently and bookings for next year and 2011 are coming in thick and fast.

The website may look a little different and pages may have gone missing. This is because i am moving the website to wordpress to make it easier to manage. We appreciate your patients during this change.

Also in the Winter we are looking at the possibility of making a new album.

An evening of Musical Entertainment

On the 9th May 2009 Dorrington church is hosting an evening of entertainment with popular local folk singer, Nigel Creasey. The evening starts at 6:30pm. Following on from previous successful musical evenings there will be the chance to listen to Nigel and also the possible chance of a sing along to a range of popular folk musc.

The tickets cost £6.00 per person and includes wine and tasty nibbles. Booking is required prior to the event as wine and nibble arrangements will need to be organised.
